Day 61

Today I picked coffee for work, crazy! There were actually quite a lot of good cherries ready. I don’t know if Marianna plans on me hand peeling them as well, we’ll see, that would sort of be a waste of time though for work production here or whatever. Then I detailed out the Jungle kitchen. I don’t think chickens laying eggs in pots and pans is very inviting to guests : ) After work I cleaned our kitchen, which was quite bad also, just with ants and dirty dishes. I had a bite to eat and decided I wanted to make alfredo pasta for dinner. I didn’t have milk so I said hey Jeremiah want to run to the store real quick? That was at 2pm. Long story short we came back three hours later with milk, a dartboard, chips, and gum, and our bellies full of delicious Mexican food. There is this pretty cheap place, called El Habanero, right where we usually do groceries and see movies, so I’m sure we’ll be going back. Also found out that the cool town with the Aloha Theater and health food store is called Kainalui. The traffic through there is so bad all day everyday they call it the Kainalui crawl. I just like to add new crazy sounding Hawaiian names and places to my vocabulary every chance I get. So then we came home and were too full and tired to make dinner. The last few days have been very cloudy and depressing, I need sunshine, so we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
