Day 60

So today was Rachel’s first day off. I had quite a time juggling the animal feeding and breakfast, and sweeping the deck, everyone helped each other out though. Then me and Jeremiah had three rooms to clean. We were fast and as thorough as we could be and time just flew by to quitting time. Marianna bought us subway for all our hard work. Solei chased a rooster, they’re nasty buggers, no one cares if she kills them, and a huge chunk of tail feathers was on the trail to our trailer. They are really pretty black with iridescent turquoise and purple. I was just so tired i watched a lot of TV, drew a little. I tried out one of the bikes. Its scary because I just wanted to go downhill and its all uneven, like mountain biking, avoiding large rocks, at racing speeds with bad breaks, just a trip round the property was quite invigorating. Oh I long for the even roads and my three speed French bike, I can’t wait for that. Its like all the exercise I can get here is either really strenuous or none at all. So yeah pretty mellow day for sure. I mean yay! Marianna is back, and she doesn’t have cancer. So that is really cool. Everything was fine when she was gone, no phone ringing off the hook, the animals were chill, but as soon as she came out of her bedroom this morning all hell broke loose, that poor lady never gets a break. She again told me I can come back whenever I want, it’s so cool to have a family in Hawaii. We only have four and a half weeks left here, that’s kind of sad. I still want to do some fun exciting things, I feel like we got adventure out of our system too early. Perhaps we should kayak to Captain Cook monument, it’s only twenty a person for the whole day to rent. I am going to end up doing my taxes in Hawaii so that should be a blast ; ) wink wink. Actually maybe it will be less annoying considering the circumstances . . . we’ll see.
