It’s kind of cool that when people ask how long have you been here we can say a month, has it really been that long? We’ll be here ¼ a year. So today Marianna was back and I don’t know there has just been a lot of drama and confusion and misplaced anger, luckily none of it affects me a Jeremiah too much, but it’s hard to bee around. I guess that’s what happens when six people are stuck on 7 acres together almost all day everyday. Reminds of that one cheesy reality show, well I guess real world, or that big brother show, one of the first to show up in the ”reality” TV phenomenon. Okay, so yeah, today, for work I painted a stain glass window frame for Marianna’s house and puttied nails dents in the soffeting. It went really fast. I am still feeling sick, grr! So again not many plans for this evening. Oh we figured out that batman is not the missing dog because theirs is fixed and more like a Chihuahua, which he is not. Heard about the big Haitian earthquake on the news, sad! I also perused a 1994 Hawaiian atlas and learned some things. Like because of our location the hottest day ever was 100 degrees Fahrenheit in 1931. So it will be in the eighties even in the spring when we are here, just more rain I think. Hmm what else, the state flower is the yellow hibiscus. Oahu, where Honolulu is, at that time, held 75% of the population of all the islands, its probably more or similar still. I find that fascinating since we are the Big island, but Oahu has the big bustling metropolis so I guess it makes sense. Okay that’s all. We’re going to try and figure out to get the dried fruit shell off the coffee beans and be almost finished with our own Kona coffee adventure. Let me grab that atlas and spit out some more fun facts, I enjoyed it, and so shall you : ) Japanese people have the most tourists here and spend the most money, us western U.S.ers are second. The only states smaller in land area are Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Deleware. Um actually that’s all. Okay, good night, and thanks for reading : )
No THANK YOU! Atlas facts and all!
