Day 45

Eva’s last day is today, it is weird to think if we did the six week minimum here, it would be our last day as well. I am glad, I’m not ready to leave just yet. When I got up I stuck my face in the bowl of Kona coffee we made, it smells so amazing! I’ll have to taste test it before i send some first though. Now I am thinking of just bringing it home and having it be part of our welcome back here’s some coffee type thing, I don’t know. Maggie (short for Magnolia) the pig was out of her pen today, very strange. She is always either in her little house, eating, or by the fence door, but she ventured off into a nearby path today, I couldn’t believe it. We have seen such a new variety of animal behavior here lately, I wonder if they know something . . . I started a project of very carefully and tediously painting all the double doors at the new houses today. I hate it, it’s so hard! Actually I was asked to, I have no choice. I think the screen on my ipod is completely broken but I totally depend on listening to music to get me through the day, I could break down and get a new one I guess . . . I also spent a length of the morning trying to get Marianna’s computer working better, windows just sucks and is so complicated, I remember the days, I think I just made it worse. We have defragged and disk cleaned up, got rid of old programs, any other suggestions dad? After work so far we have snacked, I posted some on the computer, this evening is a going away dinner for Eva so we are just hanging out until then. Dinner was lovely as always. Potatoes, salald, green beans, and turkey, plus plenty of wine as usual. We get up early to send her off.
