This morning Marianna was gone at the condos so I made breakfast pretty much alone) no offense but Eva got in the way a ton). Reiner showed me a piece of paper about a missing dog that pretty much seems to be Batman (Solei’s little friend), so now we are feeding him more then just a nibble here and there. Then while I was cleaning up an already sickly and annoyed morning got worse. The guests when Marianna isn’t there get so crazy. “Can we have more butter, coffee, there’s no more dishes” “can I use the phone, do you have a phone I can use” (three different people, why don’t you have a cell phone!) “I want to rent a boogie board, snorkel gear”. I don’t know how to do any of this, I can’t find Reiner, So I break down and let the phone line use the house line cuz they’re just staring at me. I’M NOT IN CHARGE I’M JUST THE KITCHEN GIR!!! But I managed not to get too pissy and think eventually it all got worked out. I went to our bathroom and Jeremiah showed me our bathtub, it looked like droppy black spray paint, but it was ants, gross, he took care of it, now he just has to wipe up their little corpses. Then I cleaned the boat room and retired early because I have a headache and feel like crap and too much stress happened and . . . sigh, it was hairy morning. Then I was starving and the propane is out in our kitchen and I couldn’t get it to work in the Jungle kitchen so I figured out how to change it but just told Jeremiah how because I was to scared to touch it, but nothings has blown up since we changed and used it so all is well. Not going to do anything today, still feel puny.
Oh my poor baby!!! I so enjoyed catching up with your recent posts. I was hoping you hadn't given up, or thought it was getting boring...which it certainly hasn't! I laughed until tears were steaming down my face about Eva's interruption. Do you remember the story about Dad and I on our first cruise? when I bumped the light switch at the head of the bed and we thought someone was in the room? I imagine that was how it felt, except there really was someone for you!!! You got a refund check from Dr. L. Would you text me your account number so I can deposit it for you?
ReplyDeleteheck yes! its about time that goober send me some money back, i knew i was giving them too much, i'll call you. Yeah it was an interesting interruption, i mean it wasn't a lot to see, but still unsettling. Yeah i write everyday, but i wait abou t one day to a week to come up post them, so i write it, you just dont get to see it instantly. i'm so glad your enjoying this blog, means a lot that your a fan : )
